So this year, we decided to make him a costume. *in a very last min manner*
We wanted it to be simple so we chose his favourite bus character... Tayo. Daddy sprayed painted a cardboard box. For the headlights, eyes and mouth, we printed it on sticker paper, cut it out and then just adhere it on the cardboard box. Black sugar paper is used as windows and finally, used circle cutter to cut on black and white card stock to make the wheels. Punch some holes and tied a ribbon so we can hang them over Lucas.
But, as expected, during the event, Lucas was cranky even though he manage to get some sleep abit before the event. He just wouldn't want to wear it. Also the crowd was massive. So much larger than we expected. We saw a lot of superheros & princess elsa :) Seeing the crowd grab sweets like "piranhas" at each stop actually scared me. I think Lucas was shocked too. As the crowd moved on to higher floors, suddenly Lucas asked to wear his costumes.
We quickly grabbed the camera and took some pics with him and his costume. He started smiling again. Fuh!
The next day, we brought the costume over to my cousin's place and he wore it again for a bit... :) and finally, aunt Sha gets to take pic with him.
Hey! I'm so excited I found your post about the Tayo costume! Can you tell me where you printed all the things out from and what color blue you used? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi! Love the costume. I'd also like to know where you printed. I'll be trying to make a tayo costume too. Hopefully mine will come out just as awesome as yours. Lucas is very cute!
ReplyDeleteI was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
ReplyDeleteliver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
